"I do this with passion. I like to work hard". Guenther Steiner, Haas’ straight-talking Team Principal, has had plenty of hard work to do this year. From finding a new driver on the eve of the 2022 season, to replacing Mick Schumacher with Nico Hulkenberg for 2023, Steiner has made big calls to help Haas make big moves. In great detail, he talks Tom Clarkson through his decisions, and how they’ll drive the team towards its goals. Guenther also gives his views on his fame, management style and even his merchandise. Much love and respect for Guenther! 👍🏻
Drive to survive was the lead dog in bringing one of the finest forms of European racing to America and introducing all the players from behind the scene action to on track battles that is Formula One..
Austin Texas Circute of the Americas tier 3 track was a huge rewarding and advanced move for our city ,that noone else had ever done in the U.S.
Haas is not concidered an American team nor due they want to be.
I feel if they dont have the resources to compete move over and allow a true AMERICAN Team to move on the grid.
Looks like wokstars and not wankors
Great interview.
However at 5phcEpQWAWM&t=10m30s 10:30 when he's asked about an 11th F1 team, the only concern is prize money and revenue for the teams, not whether the racing could be improved. This is sad.
Shows the mentality from F1 and explains why any new teams have to pay a 200 million entry fee.
Toxic environment
5phcEpQWAWM&t=1m20s 1:20 - “You’ve probably seen (the t-shirts talking about focksmashing doors) his no nonsense attitude….”
Just finished listening to this. You have to admire and cheer on Gunther's brave decisions that's fuelled by passion to take risks. I feel he's as much a racer as any of the 20 on the grid, and it shows how much Gene trusts him with it
FIRE GUNTHER
ask him if he speaks with Gene in German.
With how he treats new drivers after all they did for the team really hope haas flops in 2023
He’s so direct and blunt and it’s fantastic. Hope he doesn’t go too corporate in the future.
Very cold about Grosjean. He got out. Did it affect me no. It's honest, just the guy he is. But I find it a bit emotionally strange. To be a fly on the wall in GS's therapy sessions.
Everyone's favourite NASCAR Team Boss!!! Just don't ask him about his best NASCAR driver at Red Bull and what his wife does. Hint, it is not A.J.
Jesus how many saliva this man invests on speaking xD
What a great chat that was. Such a down to earth bloke, if he ever gets down to Stanley in Tasmania, I will buy him dinner.
Hi Tom. Can we get Helmut Marko on the show at some point? And can we also get Rob Wilson the driver coach on at some point?
Drive to survive 2022 season come on!
It was nice to hear him I’m a conversation setting and not a media scenario
My favourite TP
